Nicky and John have been fostering with Lancashire for 3 and half years, but came to us as experienced carers and have fostered for 15 years all together.

Currently caring for two boys aged 13 and 11, Nicky shared their experiences of fostering:

"Special memories include seeing the children experience something for the first time: going away on a Scout camp and sleeping in tents, travelling by aeroplane to a foreign country, eating candyfloss at the fairground and balancing their pocket money between sweets and Lego.

"At home we enjoy family board games and spend many a while sat around the dining table together.

"The matching has always been spot on. We look after babies, siblings groups plus parent and baby, all of which have been carefully matched."
