KS1 Brilliant Book Award

The Brilliant Book Award (BBA) is for children aged six to seven years.

Throughout the spring term children are encouraged to have lots of fun, sharing stories and voting for their favourite book to win a Brilliant Book Award.

We are excited to announce that 'Gigantic' by Rob Biddulph has been chosen by KS1 children across Lancashire as the winner of the 2025 Brilliant Book Award! Rob attended our virtual celebration event on 6 June where he received his award, answered questions and spoke to children about being an award-winning author.
