Aims
This course is designed to fulfil the refresher training requirements of local authority highway inspectors and to satisfy the requirements of the IHE certification scheme,
Objectives
A two-day refresher course intended for local authority highway inspectors who have completed the initial highway inspectors’ course within the last five years and want to renew their qualification for a further five years. It provides a reminder of the knowledge and skills already gained on the initial course, and an update on recent changes in guidance and developments in procedures.
Learning outcomes
Develop competency in safe working practices.
Compliance with LHS procedures and H&S legislation and IHE requirements.
Promote good practice in the workplace.
