This course is designed for employees who, during their daily duties are required as a Highways service business need, to have a DCPC qualification.
Course aim
The aims of this course are:
To provide employees working within Lancashire Highways Services with the required knowledge and practical skills essential for gaining a Driver CPC Qualification.

To understand both the operator and drivers responsibilities regarding vehicle roadworthiness
Name and understand the key guidance documents relevant to vehicle roadworthiness
Name and understand the DVSA Enforcement Sanctions Policy & understand Fixed Penalties
Recount key procedures for a vehicle check
Name the main guidance documents on Load Security
Gain a basic understanding of vehicle weights and dimensions
