Specialist HLTAs
The Primary+ team has six Specialist HLTA's, who work closely with the Specialist Teachers to support inclusion in schools.
We primarily work with pupils who have difficulties / delays in communication and interaction and follow the recommendations of the Specialist Teachers to support schools in embedding good inclusive practice.
This free service comes as an additional benefit when purchasing a minimum of 6 hours specialist teacher input.
The Specialist HLTA support consists of either a morning or afternoon weekly session, for the duration of half a term.
On completion of our input, we hope that children and staff will have benefitted from our service and schools are able to continue implementing the recommendations and strategies, to meet children's individual needs and make learning fun and engaging.
Referral
Referrals to our team come from educational settings who can purchase either one-off sessions or ongoing support throughout the academic year.
