Reading Heroes
This summer, we challenge you to be a Reading Hero and help Dr Paige Turner stop Captain A. Eye and his parrot, Polygon from hacking computers in their search of treasure.
If you are aged between 4 and 12, then your library needs you. Keep up your reading over the summer, complete some cool science experiments, and bag prizes along the way.
Back for its fourth year with a new story, new villain, and new prizes!
How it works
Sign up for free at your local library and receive a booklet containing all the information you need to help stop Captain A. Eye, including a comic book story to unlock along the way.
To become a Reading Hero, read five books over the course of the summer, collecting stickers and prizes as you go!
To become a Reading Superhero, read five books and complete 3 of the tasks in the booklet. Reading Superheroes enter a prize draw for a £50 Lego kit of your choice!
