Connect to Work

Connect to Work can help you find a job, stay in work or avoid losing your job.

We work with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to deliver this programme in Lancashire.

You may be able to get support if you:

  • are unemployed

  • are not currently working

  • are in work but at risk of losing your job

  • need extra support to find or keep a job

Who can apply

You must:

  • be aged 18 or over (some flexibility may be available for younger people in certain circumstances)

  • live in Lancashire

  • have the right to work in the UK

  • be unemployed, not currently working, or at risk of losing your job

  • not be taking part in another intensive DWP employment programme

You must also need additional support because of:

  • a disability or long-term health condition, including a mental health condition

  • multiple or complex barriers to employment

Additional support

The programme can support people whose circumstances make it harder to find or stay in work, including:

  • people with caring responsibilities

  • people who have experienced homelessness

  • people involved with the criminal justice system

  • refugees

  • care leavers

  • veterans

  • survivors of domestic abuse
