Spectrum Gaming are a charity that support autistic young people through their online community. Members have access to the Discord server and a private Minecraft world, where they can connect with peers and form positive relationships. Online events and activities are overseen by youth workers, trained volunteers and staff, who are also available to support individual members.
To access this service, young people must be Autistic (with or without a diagnosis).
This is an additional offer for eligible Break Time members. Young people can access Spectrum Gaming as well as their 78 hours of face-to-face activities, if they wish.

The camp is delivered by highly qualified and experienced staff in working with disabilities. There are many activities to choose from at our inclusion camp including multi skill activities, recreational area, games room (wii sport, xbox 360 & table football), additional sports such as football and dodge ball and much more.

During school holiday periods we will deliver a combination of activities. Sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced staff members who are passionate about delivering positive outcomes for SEN children, their parents and carers. We welcome all children and we will do our upmost to provide additional support. Holiday trips involve going out to various places for example the Cinema, Bowling, Crazy Golf, the Zoo and Safari Park. Going out in the community gives all children the opportunity to experience different venues that they may not have the opportunity to attend other times, also to socially interact with their peers. Saturday trips are similar to the holiday sessions; all meals, transport and entry to venues are included.
We cannot provide a door to door pickup but we do offer two pickup and drop off points from Broadfield School Burnley and McDonald’s Hyndburn road Accrington.

We offer activities involving interactions with animals, including Donkeys, Alpaca, Goats, Sheep, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and Poultry. We ensure the participant has a fun experience with animals under controlled and supervised conditions. Interactions include, feeding, grooming and general care. There is a social story available from our website to prepare your child for their visit. A pre-visit can also be arranged.

The Young Leader Award is an engaging and empowering programme designed for young people aged 11+ years, providing them with the first stepping stone into leadership, teamwork and volunteering. Delivered across four weeks, the course supports learners to develop confidence, resilience and communication skills through fun, practical activities and sports leadership experiences.
Through a combination of practical sessions, mentoring and teamwork, the Young Leader Award helps young people to:

We offer a youth club for all children with additional needs and disabilities. Activities on offer include arts and crafts, Lego, sensory play, cooking, gaming and sports and games. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers will provide individual support to meet each child or young person's individual support needs. We also offer a weekly sensory session at The Space Centre followed by tea out. We offer fun and inclusive daytime holiday clubs which promise to be fun and inclusive for children and young people with physical disabilities, particularly those with acquired brain injury or neurological conditions. We are particularly experienced in supporting wheelchair users and those with mobility impairments.
Our friendly and experienced team will help children and young people to access the activities and ensure they are differentiated to meet individual needs.
We have plenty of fun activities on site which include arts and crafts and sports as well as a relaxing sensory room, an indoor Active movement room, large hall space and use of outdoor areas for children and young people with SEND to enjoy. We are also able to include therapies such as Rebound Therapy, Conductive Education and Dynamic Movement Intervention where appropriate. Sessions focus on group-based activities, where children can engage in fun and meaningful activities whilst socialising and making new friends.
