Independent and non-maintained special schools

You can find details of all special schools in England, including independent schools, on the Department for Education’s Get Information about Schools system.

On the government's website, you can view a list of institutions approved by the Secretary of State under section 41 of the Children and Families Act 2014 for the purpose of naming in an EHC plan. See special schools and colleges approved under section 41 on GOV.UK.
