Support for carers
If you care for someone, you can get information and guidance to support you in your role.
This includes:
information on what benefits you might be entitled to.
short break support, which gives you a vital opportunity to take a break from your caring role.
Access mental health support
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need urgent support call 111 and select option 2.
We have services for people who need mental health support.
Day centres and residential care
If you can't live at home any more or need advice about supported living, care homes or day care.
Choose equipment for mobility support
If you have difficulty with moving and walking, home equipment can support you in your home.
If you need personalised advice online the AskSARA website will advise you on the types of equipment that can help.
Technology Enabled Care (TEC)
Technology Enabled Care is where devices such as, personal alarms and sensors for your home are linked to a 24/7 response centre.
When an alert is raised, we contact friends or relatives, the emergency services or send a member of the mobile response team to help you.
